Cardiff failed to return to winning ways in the Championship, as they went down 1-0 to Leeds at Elland Road.
Alex Mowatt’s brilliant long-range strike in the 63rd minute proved to be the difference between the two sides.
Former Cardiff defender Gabbidon was following the game, and he was not impressed with the football on show.
The former Wales international, though, was impressed with Mowatt’s goal.
Over the course of the 90 minutes at Elland Road, visiting Cardiff had 60% of the possession, took six shots of which two were on target, and earned four corners.
The Bluebirds are ninth in the Championship table at the moment with 22 points from 15 matches, three points behind sixth-place Birmingham City.
Russell Slade’s side will return to Championship action on Saturday afternoon when they take on Reading at the Cardiff City Stadium.
