Confirmed Bayern Munich and Arsenal line-ups: Exciting Gunners winger starts

Arsenal Emirates

Here is how Bayern Munich and Arsenal will line up for this evening’s match:

Arsenal travel to the Allianz Arena this evening to take on Bundesliga champions Bayern Munich in a huge Champions League group clash.

The Gunners looked dead and buried after losing their first two matches of this season’s competition, but a victory against Bayern last time out gave them hope, and at least a point today will see them right back in contention to reach the knockout stages.

Arsenal are currently second in the Premier League, level on points with leaders Manchester City and behind them only on goal-difference, and they will be quietly confident of doing the double over Pep Guardiola’s side.

While Arsenal are still bottom of Group F, a win this evening will put them level on points with current leaders Bayern so the importance of a stellar away performance cannot be overstated.

That said, Bayern are one of the best sides in Europe right now and on their own patch they will be very hard to break down and even harder to keep out at the opposite end.
