Chris Sutton says having James Forrest back is a huge plus for Celtic

Celtic will face Molde in the Europa League on Thursday.

Chris Sutton has told The Daily Record that having James Forrest back is a big boost to Celtic’s chances of winning against Molde on Thursday evening.

Scottish Premiership giants Celtic will take on Molde at Celtic Park in the Europa League Group A.

Scotland international winger Forrest has shaken off his injury problems and is available for the match against the Norwegian side.

Former Celtic striker Sutton has highlighted the importance of the 24-year-old to Ronny Deila’s team and told The Daily Record: “It’s a huge plus having Forrest back.

“He’s had stick over the years due to the injuries he’s had but he’s been one of the bright sparks when he has played this season.

“Molde have weaknesses in the full-back positions and James will be looking to exploit them.”

Celtic will head into Thursday’s game on the back of a 3-1 victory over Aberdeen at Celtic Park in Glasgow in the Scottish Premiership.

The Bhoys have won their last three competitive matches and are back in form.

Deila’s side will be looking to take revenge on Thursday, having lost to Molde 3-1 away from home in Norway last month.
