HITC Sport understands that the highly-rated Brewers boss is happy where he is and would only leave for a club with 'good structure'.
Now making an impact in the third tier, Hasselbaink's achievements have not gone unnoticed, but the one time Chelsea and Middlesbrough striker has no intention of abandoning the Burton project for another opening.
HITC Sport understands Leeds United showed an interest before they appointed Uwe Rosler in the summer, and whilst the chance to return to another of his former clubs was appealing, the set-up of the club was far from ideal.
And the same goes for Charlton Athletic, who are looking for their fifth manager in 18 months and although they would be keen on Hasselbaink, sources close to him have confirmed that the role would not be entertained.
The sources said: "Charlton is a not a job that Jimmy would think about, it just is not right - he is no hurry to leave Burton, where he is very happy and loves it and for somebody to get him, it would need to be something that he can get his teeth into, a good club with a good structure."
