West Ham United striker Andy Carroll said on Sky Sports Soccer Saturday on Sky Sports News HQ that some of his meetings with Slaven Bilic have been boring so far.
The Croatian boss is meticulous in his approach, and because his preparations are so thorough his discussions with his players can be lengthy.
Carroll has joked that sometimes they can become monotonous, but he insists that the team are all paying attention to their new manager.
"We have long meetings, and something they can be boring meetings,” Carroll said on Sky Sports Soccer Saturday on Sky Sports News HQ. “But, obviously, they’re paying off and the lads are all listening to him.”
Bilic has made a wonderful impression as West Ham boss, and already their supporters and players seem to be buying into his ethos.
West Ham have scored 22 goals to date this season, and they have caught the eye with their new-found attacking prowess.
The London outfit have been one of England’s most exciting teams to watch, and even if Bilic’s meetings have been boring, his side certainly have not been.
