Arsenal comprehensively defeated Swansea City 3-0 on Saturday.
The Gunners headed into their clash with the Swans coming off the back of a 3-0 League Cup defeat at Sheffield Wednesday, a result which showed slight fragility within their squad.
Arsene Wenger restored his best players at the Liberty Stadium, but it took them a while to get going, scoring all three goals in the second period after a tense first-half showing.
The Swans dominated possession in the early stages, passed around the visitors’ midfield and looked to pull the likes of Koscielny and Coquelin out of position.
However, Arsenal were defensively sound once more, with three players in particular real standouts.

As per the table provided by Opta Stats, Monreal, Koscielny and Coquelin were all heavily involved and among the Premier League’s best at intercepting over the weekend.
Former Charlton Athletic loan star Coquelin was the standout performer in this category, producing more interceptions than any other player with an impressive tally of six.
The North Londoners have become an increasingly better and more solid team since Coquelin established himself as a first-team regular at the beginning of this year.
Throughout 2015, no Premier League team has conceded fewer goals than Arsenal, and Arsene Wenger deserves huge credit for placing so much trust in a player who has often been overlooked.
Next up for Wenger’s men is the little matter of the North London derby with Tottenham Hotspur, with Spurs also boasting an impressive defensive record and a current 10-game unbeaten run.
