How do you make Spurs fans love you, tweet something bad about Arsenal, obviously!
Some players are just a perfect fit for their clubs, we're thinking Jack Colback and Newcastle, Jonny Walters and Stoke and of course, John Terry and Chelsea.
They might not be dancing round five defenders and scoring 40-yard screamers, but their work ethic and attitude is enough to endear themselves to their supporters.
Back in 2012 Dier was on loan with Everton and featured for their reserve side against the Gunners. Now one way to endear yourself to a Spurs fan is surely to have a pop at their bitter rivals, Arsenal, and that's exactly what he did.
After Everton's win, Dier was so ticked off by Arsenal, he tweeted this:
Good 2-0 win to finish of the season, aresnal players all the same #wingebags— Eric Dier (@ericdier) May 2, 2012
Now while the Tweet probably didn't get much notice back in 2012, some Spurs fans have found it and are very, very impressed by Dier's attitude towards Arsenal.
