Derby County welcome Queens Park Rangers to the Ipro Stadium this evening knowing they can climb back into the top two in the Championship with a victory.
Derby are currently fifth in the second tier with 27 points from 14 matches played, while QPR are 12th with just 19 points to date.
That said QPR will know they are only a couple of good results away from the play-off places and anything can happen in this division.
Derby won comfortably against Rotherham United last time out and a repeat of that 3-0 score-line would be welcomed by the home fans tonight.
As for QPR, they recently lost 1-0 to Brentford and will be hoping to get back to winning ways, and when you consider Derby have won just one of their last eight home games against today’s opponents, the visitors will be quietly confident of leaving with a good result.
