Forget the on pitch action at White Hart Lane, the talk of Twitter during Aston Villa's visit to Spurs was all about Tim Sherwood.
Villa fired Sherwood just over a week ago after a terrible start to the season, which saw them pick up just four points from the opening 10 games of the season.
They joined Tottenham in becoming the second Premier League club to dismiss Sherwood, with chairman Daniel Levy choosing in 2014 to bring in Mauricio Pochettino from Southampton, rather than re-hire him.
Fans took to social media to comment on his misfortune, showing that while he may be out of the picture, he has not been forgotten.

I won't be happy until we're up 17-0 and Sherwood is at home yelling at his TV "MISS ME YET!?"— American Spurs (@AmericanSpurs) November 2, 2015

Sky Sports showed they had not forgotten him either, placing caretaker boss Kevin Macdonald's head onto Sherwood's body to illustrate a pre-match graphic.
One Tottenham Hotspur blog couldn't help but poke fun at him, suggesting a mid-game way to pay tribute to Sherwood's dismissal from Villa.

It should not be forgotten that Sherwood was just one game away from winning the FA Cup last season, and had they had the fortune to come up against a lesser team than Arsenal, but his near success seems so far away right now, with new boss Remi Garde ready to take over.
