Dele Alli is the best teenage footballer in the Premier League at the moment.
It is as simple as that.
The Tottenham Hotspur midfielder has been superb this season, and he was once again outstanding against Aston Villa at White Hart Lane on Monday evening.
The 19-year-old started the Premier League game in North London and played until the 89th minute, as Spurs registered a 3-1 win.
Besides scoring the North London outfit’s second goal on the stroke of half time, the England international created one chance.
The youngster had a pass accuracy of 84%, attempted four dribbles, won 67% of his tackles and 40% of his headers, and made two interceptions, four clearances and one block.
Alli looked calm and composed on the ball against Villa and produced yet another all-round performance in midfield.
The 19-year-old has established himself in Tottenham’s starting lineup, and his confidence is increasing with every match.
The teenager can still develop and add facets to his game, and Tottenham fans will hope that he does that as the season progresses.
