The 30-year-old Portuguese defensive midfielder posted the following message on Twitter just a day after Wednesday defeated Nottingham Forest at home in the Championship.
We can't always control what happens around us, but we can control how we react. #swfc - be the best we can be :-) x— José Semedo (@JVSemedo) November 1, 2015
Semedo started the game at Hillsborough and played for 57 minutes, as the Owls won 1-0.
Fernando Forestieri’s goal midway through the second half proved to be the difference between the two sides.
The win against Forest at home means that Wednesday are now very much in the running for a top-six finish in the Championship this season.
Carlos Carvalhal’s side are eighth in the league table at the moment with 23 points from 14 matches, just a point behind sixth-place Birmingham City.
The Owls are back in Championship action on Tuesday evening when they take on leaders Brighton & Hove Albion at home.
Wednesday fans responded to Semedo’s message on Twitter. Below are some of the best comments:
@JVSemedo well done for not knocking 10 shades out of Ward, most players wouldn't have stayed that calm— Matthew Holmes (@MatthewHolmesLa) November 1, 2015
