James Forrest heaps praise on Tom Rogic

The Celtic winger praised the 22-year-old's contribution against Aberdeen on Saturday afternoon.

James Forrest says he was delighted to score during Celtic's 3-1 win over Aberdeen on Saturday - and has praised Tom Rogic's contribution, according to the Glasgow Evening Times.

Indeed, the Australian midfielder registered the assist for Forrest's goal and the 24-year-old has praised Rogic's role.

Rogic has done well enough this season to keep plenty of his rivals out of the side while playing through the middle for Celtic and Forrest was keen to laud his weekend performance.

Forrest is quoted as saying by the GET: "I was delighted to score. It was a good run by Tom. He held onto the ball really well and played it at the right time. It was a good assist from him."

Both Forrest and Rogic have been praised for their contributions at Celtic so far this season.

Rogic, though, has made a remarkable return to form after his injury troubles since joining the Bhoys. The 22-year-old, too, has been in form for his country and both Australia & Celtic fans have been appreciative of his displays this term.

The Bhoys host Molde in the Europa League on Thursday night for a crunch European clash. Ronny Deila will be hoping for more of the same as far as their 3-1 win over Aberdeen is concerned - but less of the trip to Molde where the Celtic squad were slammed for an unacceptable display.
