“Derby are on a roll, and I think they may just have too much quality for QPR within their squad,” the former Crystal Palace boss wrote on Skysports.com.
Derby are fifth in the Championship table at the moment with 27 points from 14 matches, just three points behind leaders Brighton & Hove Albion.
Meanwhile, QPR currently find themselves 12th in the standings with 19 points from 14 games, five points behind sixth-place Birmingham City.
Hosts Derby will head into Tuesday evening’s match on the back of a 3-0 home victory over Rotherham United. Rangers suffered a 1-0 defeat to Brentford away from home on Friday.
Paul Clement's side have posted the best passing accuracy rate in the Championship(80%) this season, while QPR have the third-worst percentage (68%).
This will be the first meeting between these two sides since their Championship play-off final clash in May 2014, in which QPR won 1-0 thanks to a Bobby Zamora goal.
