The Celtic forward is in great form this season and that shows no signs of ending.
Sometimes a picture says more than words could ever manage, and such was the case with the image that Celtic striker Leigh Griffiths posted on his official Twitter account this weekend.
The Bhoys played Aberdeen in a vital top of the table clash on Saturday and Ronny Deila’s side ran out 3-1 winners with Griffiths grabbing a brace and James Forrest also getting on the score-sheet.
The result saw Celtic move six points clear of Aberdeen at the top of the Scottish Premiership with both sides having played 13 matches and Griffiths has been integral in the Bhoys’ fine form, scoring 16 goals in 23 matches in all competitions to date.
After the game the 25-year-old took to Twitter to post an image of him celebrating one of his strikes, along with emojis of two footballs that symbolised his latest brace.
So far this season Griffiths has scored in all but three of Celtic’s league matches and he is in the kind of form that could see him score upwards of 40 goals if he does not suffer a dip in form.
He will of course be keeping his feet on the ground for now but he deserves all the credit that comes his way…both this season and beyond.
