Arsenal fans react on Twitter to Joel Campbell's performance against Swansea

Arsenal defeated Swansea City 3-0 this weekend but what did Gunners fans make of Joel Campbell's contribution?

Arsenal maintained their impressive form as they overcame Swansea City 3-0 at the Liberty Stadium on Saturday courtesy of goals from Olivier Giroud, Laurent Koscielny and Joel Campbell.

The Costa Rica international was making his first league start for the Gunners in a somewhat surprising team selection, but he ultimately proved the doubters wrong by putting the game to bed in the 73rd minute.

The result means Arsenal are behind current leaders Manchester City only on goal-difference, with the two sides both having 25 points after 11 matches played.

Campbell may now be 23 but he has had to wait patiently for his chances at the Emirates Stadium, scoring his first goal for the club in what was only his 15th appearance since arriving back in 2011.

Campbell has played for Arsenal twice in the Champions League this season and started the shock 3-0 defeat against Sheffield Wednesday in the Capital One Cup, but he had a much better memory of his latest outing.

After the match we took to Twitter to see what Arsenal fans thought of Campbell’s performance and you can read a selection of what we found below:
