One Liverpool midfielder has been speaking about another in a recent interview.
Rossiter made his debut for Liverpool against Middlesbrough last season but he had to wait until the following campaign to break through on a more regular basis.
So far this season the 18-year-old has played three times for Liverpool’s first-team including twice in the Europa League and for the final 14 minutes against Arsenal in what was his Premier League debut.
Were it not for injury Rossiter is likely to have played more but as it is his new manager Jurgen Klopp will have to wait to see what the midfielder can do on the field.
Lallana knows exactly how good he is, however, and in the interview with The Redmen TV the England international named Rossiter as Liverpool’s best young player.
When you consider the Reds have the likes of Jordon Ibe, Harry Wilson, Ryan Kent, Cameron Brannagan and Sheyi Ojo coming through that is quite a compliment, but Rossiter still has plenty of work to do to live up to that potential.
