The former Manchester United defender was impressed with Liverpool.
Two great finishes from Philippe Coutinho and a late strike from Christian Benteke did the job but Liverpool did go 1-0 down.
Ramires scored in the third minute for The Blues but after that things went downhill.
Chelsea went into their shell soon after and Liverpool deserved the win. Jurgen Klopp's side were the more positive, more attacking and more clinical - leaving an out of sorts Chelsea trailing in their wake.
One man who does not have much sympathy for Chelsea after the defeat is Rio Ferdinand.
The former Manchester United defender sent out this tweet earlier today suggesting that Chelsea did not come out to win the game.
Only 1 team have come to win this game today....— Rio Ferdinand (@rioferdy5) October 31, 2015
Liverpool under Klopp are set to play a more attacking and positive game and today it really paid off - even though they started the game without a recognised striker in the XI.
Ferdinand's tweet shows that it was noticed today. As for Chelsea, Mourinho might need to adapt a little and change his more defensive style if he is to get Chelsea out of the current rut.
