Steve Evans is on the lookout for a new keeper.
Leeds United are currently in the market for a new goalkeeper. The club are short in the position at the moment. Marco Silvestri is an inconsistent performer in between the Elland Road sticks and second choice Ross Turnbull is set to miss the majority of the season with a broken ankle.
Steve Evans has made no secret of his desire to bring in a new stopper and has already failed in his first approach to bring in a keeper from the Premier League on an 'emergency' loan.
The club that Leeds United should be in touch with is Crystal Palace.
The Eagles have three top-class keepers in their ranks and Leeds United would do well to ask Alan Pardew if they can borrow one.
Alex McCarthy started the season as the number one but has dropped out of the starting XI after the good form of Welsh international Wayne Hennessy. Meanwhile the veteran stopper Julian Speroni is now fit and ready for action but has not featured for the club this season.
Palace could certainly stand to send one of these players out on loan to the Championship and Leeds United would happily receive one.
