Gutted to lose today, pick ourselves up onto the next, want to personally thank home supporters greatly appreciated pic.twitter.com/CNoYA3wkSO— James McClean (@JamesMcC14) October 31, 2015
James McClean took to Twitter on Saturday night to admit he was 'gutted' after West Brom's 3-2 loss to Leicester City.
It's rare players on the losing side will venture onto social media so credit to the 26-year-old, who continues to divide opinion.
This tweet was far less controversial than many of the West Brom winger's, though, with him especially causing a stir after the Baggies' recent win over Sunderland. McClean angered both fans and players of his old club by celebrating in front of them but there was none of that against Leicester.
West Brom led but lost 3-2. It's a story Leicester fans will be very familiar with this Premier League season. But, with the Foxes third, they certainly won't be complaining.
West Brom themselves are still in a decent position - they sit 11th in the standings on 14 points. Boss Tony Pulis, meanwhile, was hugely frustrated with referee Anthony Taylor and admitted he owes him an apology after the game for 'having a go' at him.
The Baggies will have to bounce back once again, although Leicester supporters would surely stop the clock and finish the season now after taking a look at the Premier League table.
