The Magpies forward took to social media after the goalless stalemate.
Disappointed result . pic.twitter.com/ajcMUbMn0F— Georginio Wijnaldum (@GWijnaldum) October 31, 2015
The Dutchman only uttered two words on social media and English clearly isn't his first language.
But the picture Wijnaldum posted was telling. Indeed, after the draw, Steve McClaren suggested Stoke goalkeeper Jack Butland was all that stood between Newcastle and three points.
For Newcastle, 0-0s don't quite cut it while they sit in the relegation zone. But, barring a goalkeeping masterclass from Butland, McClaren's men may well have had their second win of the league campaign so far.
Next up for the Magpies is a trip to Bournemouth. Can they finally get another win on the board - or will another top-drawer display from a shot stopper stop them in their tracks?
For Wijnaldum, not scoring for the second game in a row will no doubt be particularly frustrating, considering the fact he managed four in one game against Norwich City.
