Georginio Wijnaldum reacts on Twitter to Newcastle's 0-0 draw with Stoke

The Magpies forward took to social media after the goalless stalemate.

Newcastle United forward Georginio Wijnaldum took to Twitter on Saturday night following a frustrating 0-0 draw with Stoke City at St James' Park.

The Dutchman only uttered two words on social media and English clearly isn't his first language.

But the picture Wijnaldum posted was telling. Indeed, after the draw, Steve McClaren suggested Stoke goalkeeper Jack Butland was all that stood between Newcastle and three points.

And Butland was certainly impressive, delivering yet again for the Potters in the Premier League.

For Newcastle, 0-0s don't quite cut it while they sit in the relegation zone. But, barring a goalkeeping masterclass from Butland, McClaren's men may well have had their second win of the league campaign so far.

Next up for the Magpies is a trip to Bournemouth. Can they finally get another win on the board - or will another top-drawer display from a shot stopper stop them in their tracks?

For Wijnaldum, not scoring for the second game in a row will no doubt be particularly frustrating, considering the fact he managed four in one game against Norwich City.
