Former Liverpool stars Jamie Carragher and Luis Garcia react to Philippe Coutinho masterclass

The Liverpool star shot back into form this afternoon.

Jurgen Klopp's Liverpool piled more misery on Chelsea and Jose Mourinho today, with a 3-1 victory at Stamford Bridge.

Chelsea had taken the lead early on through an increasingly rare goal from Ramires. However Liverpool were not done with Philippe Coutinho leading the comeback.

The magical Brazilian was in fantastic form today and scored a great strike on the edge of half-time. He then went on to score again in the second half - before Christian Benteke finished things off.

His performance was certainly closer to his best that Liverpool fans have been missing recently.

It was a performance that certainly impressed a pair of former Liverpool players.

Jamie Carragher, who played over 700 games for Liverpool in his career, tweeted these messages during the game - he was clearly pleased with the Brazilian:

Liverpool cult hero Luis Garcia was also on the tweet celebrating after the Brazilian hit the back of the net:

Coutinho finding his best form will be key for Liverpool if they are going to rise up the Premier League table under Jurgen Klopp and this performance was hopefully an indicator of things to come.
