The former Palace striker thinks his former club will win this afternoon.
Crystal Palace are in action this afternoon facing Manchester United at Selhurst Park. The Eagles have been tipped to finish high this season after a strong end to last season but have recently found themselves in a rut of form.
They have lost their last three games including a 5-1 thrashing in the Capital One Cup on Wednesday.
Manchester United will therefore be an unwelcome task at the moment as Palace look to stop the rot this afternoon against a side who have genuine ambitions of winning the Premier League this season.
But one man who is backing them to win this afternoon is former striker Clinton Morrison. The former Republic of Ireland international is currently signed on to a short-term deal at Exeter City.
The 36-year-old started his career at Palace and played for the club for nine years over two different spells at Selhurst Park.
He reckons that Palace might just sneak a win against Louis van Gaal's men this afternoon.
He sent this tweet earlier today:
Really think Palace could get something today!! Won't be easy, though... https://t.co/623s2hEEzS— Clinton Morrison (@morrisonclinton) October 31, 2015
Palace fans will be hoping that Morrison's prediction proves true and they can get three points against United this afternoon.
