“As I mentioned earlier, West Ham have done remarkably well this season and haven’t lost in the league since a 4-3 home reverse at the hands of Bournemouth in August,” the former Liverpool star wrote on Colossusbets.com.
“And I expect that unbeaten run to continue when they visit Watford, so I take them to win 2-1 or 1-0, with 1-1 added in, too.
“Watford would have been very happy with their start to the season too, but they do find scoring hard to come by – or rather they did before a 2-0 win at Stoke last weekend – so I favour West Ham to edge a tight game.”
West Ham find themselves third in the Premier League table at the moment with 20 points from 10 matches, just two points behind leaders Manchester City.
Meanwhile, hosts Watford are currently 13th in the standings with 13 points from 10 games.
The Hornets were expected by many to struggle in the Premier League this season, but Quique Sanchez Flores’s side appear to be doing relatively well at the moment.
Watford can eke out a narrow win at home, but the Hammers are playing brilliantly and should be considered favourites to pick up all three points from Saturday’s encounter.
A single goal could decide the outcome at Vicarage Road.
