Could returning Jeff Reine-Adelaide be Arsenal's saviour in injury troubles?

The 17-year-old is returning from international duty with the France under-17s.

Just as Arsenal's season began kicking into gear they get knocked out of the League Cup and suffer a string of injuries. The club have lost three main options for the right-hand side of midfield with injuries to Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Theo Walcott and Aaron Ramsey in the past couple of weeks.

That has seen them call back Dan Crowley from his loan spell at Barnsley but could it be another returning player who saves the day.

Jeff Reine-Adelaide was a star for Arsenal during the Emirates Cup this summer. Signed from RC Lens this summer the 17-year-old looks like a real talent for the future at Arsenal.

Recently he has been playing in Chile in the FIFA Under-17 World Cup with France and scored in a penalty shootout against Costa Rica in the second round recently.

Unfortunately they lost that game but for Arsenal that could be good news.

Reine-Adelaide is due back in England any day now and after a few days recuperation he could be training with the first-team ahead of a potential senior debut.

He might just be the saviour Arsenal need.
