Crystal Palace v Man Utd predicted lineups and match preview

Selhurst Park

Crystal Palace host Manchester United in the Premier League this weekend.

To be played on Saturday 31st October 2015 at 15:00. Venue: Selhurst Park, London

Odds: C. Palace 3/1, Draw 2/1, Man Utd 11/10

Crystal Palace can close the gap on Manchester United to just two points this weekend, providing they beat the Red Devils at Selhurst Park.

The Eagles lost 5-1 to Manchester City in the Capital One Cup on Wednesday night, and now need to bounce back against the other Manchester giant.

With no draws so far this season, Palace seemingly go one way or the other - they either win or they lose, and a victory this weekend would be a huge statement of intent from Alan Pardew's men.

Joel Ward faces a late fitness test, but Yohan Cabaye is a doubt, whilst Marouane Chamakh and Connor Wickham are definitely out for Palace.

Meanwhile, United drew 0-0 with rivals Manchester City last weekend, and were then knocked out of the Capital One Cup by Middlesbrough in midweek.

Louis van Gaal's men need a response, and he may look to play Anthony Martial wide again, which worked to great effect away at Everton recently.

Wayne Rooney is likely to lead the line again despite his poor recent form, whilst Memphis Depay will miss the game through injury.
