Jack Wilshere has paid tribute to an Arsenal legend.
Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere has not been able to wear the current club kit in a competititve game this season, so has been trying on old ones for size.
The England international was given the honour of wearing a Dennis Bergkamp shirt - a player who he described as the club's best ever number 10.
Another shirt he wore was that of midfielder and FA Cup Final hero Ray Parlour, and went on to joke about it's size.
There was a reason for all of this of course. Wilshere was promoting a new book entitled The Arsenal Shirt, described as a 'beautiful illustrated book, telling the story of the iconic Gunners shirt.'
Wilshere is continuing to rehab his injury, which has ruined the positive momentum he was building up at the end of last season.
PremierInjuries.com list his provisional comeback date as December 13, but as Arsenal fans have learned in the past, it's best not to be overly hopeful that this won't get delayed.
