Paul Merson has is backing Tottenham to beat Aston Villa easily.
The former Gunner added that he felt his prediction was extraordinary, for it continues his run of games where he has backed Tottenham to win.
He still appears to be reeling from the last time he predicted they would lose, and went onto demolish Manchester City 4-1, and took stick from Spurs fans revelling in their side proving him wrong.
Merson has called a 2-0 victory for Tottenham, against a managerless Aston Villa who fired Tim Sherwood last weekend.
He said: "This is extraordinary! For the fourth week on the trot I'm backing Spurs!
"Harry Kane banged in a hat-trick last week and he'll kick on now against a Villa side that are in disarray."
Merson went onto criticise Aston Villa for firing Tim Sherwood, who used to be Tottenham head coach, until Daniel Levy decided he wanted to hire Mauricio Pochettino instead.
Sherwood led Villa to a win against Spurs at White Hart Lane last season, but it will be caretaker boss Kevin MacDonald in the dugout this time around.
Merson added: "They've sacked him and got no one in, how can you sack someone and then not have a replacement lined up?"
Villa will go into the game rock bottom at the foot of the table, requiring a shock result to turn their fortunes around. Spurs have not lost any of the last three games Merson has tipped them to win, and will hope that recent record remains intact.
