Leeds United went into the break 2-0 down.
Leeds United suffered the worst possible start against Blackburn Rovers in the Championship.
They conceded after just 16 seconds, and then Rovers doubled their lead five minutes later.
The Whites have not won a home game for seven months and at the break appear no closer to breaking that unwanted streak.
It is new head coach Steve Evans' first game at Elland Road, having managed two away draws since his appointment, and he could not have imagined it could have begun in more disastrous fashion.
Leeds' early collapse prompted BBC Match of the Day host Gary Lineker to take to Twitter to joke about Massimo Cellino's trigger happy tendencies regarding the club's managers.
Surely it's about time Leeds sacked their managers at half-time.— Gary Lineker (@GaryLineker) October 29, 2015
It is Steve Evans' birthday on Friday and he will have a miserable one if Leeds cannot turn it around, and they had more misfortune when a Tom Adeyemi header came back off the post.
Cellino surely would not axe the Scotsman after just three games - although you never know with him - but watching the woeful first half display may have prompted him to start thinking about getting rid of half the players instead.
