The former Brentford manager has quickly got everyone onside.
The 34-year old was on target the last time the two sides met but his team were unable to halt the Gers’ march towards the Championship title.
Lyle spoke of his relationship with a number of Rangers players and shed light on the reasons for the impressive level of performance seen from the Ibrox club this season.
“I know a couple of the Rangers lads and they enjoy working with Warburton because he is confident and upbeat,” said Lyle.
“He gives players their position too and if he leaves them out he always explains why - that’s appreciated.”
Warburton has been praised for his man-management skills and appears to have his squad completely on board with his footballing philosophies.
The Gers travel to Easter Road on Sunday knowing a win could effectively wrap up the title just twelve games into the season.
Warburton’s men will go 11 points clear at the top of the Championship should they overcome the Hibees this weekend and there will surely be no catching them from there.
