Video: Nottingham Forest favourite Radoslaw Majewski scores first goal since 2013 for Greek outfit

The Pole joined Veria along with Djamel Abdoun this summer.

There is no doubt that Nottingham Forest fans would love to see their former player Radoslaw Majewski coming good since his departure from the club.

This summer it became clear that the midfielder had no future at Forest. He was released on the same day as Algerian attacker Djamel Abdoun and the pair went on to join the same club.

Both players joined up with Greek Super League outfit Veria on free transfers.

Today saw Veria take on Atromitos in the Greek Cup and they drew the game 2-2 - with Majewski scoring his first goal for the club.

Of course the midfield maestro earned a reputation for scoring long-range strikes during his time at the City Ground so Forest fans will be pleased to see this strike was no different - coming from outside of the box.

It was his first goal since scoring for Forest in a League Cup tie with Hartlepool way back in August 2013 and must have been an uplifting moment for the Pole.

Forest fans will no doubt be pleased to see he is getting back on his feet at Veria. As for Abdoun, well, the less said the better.
