People News: Greenhill, Bank of America

exit

Luca Ferrari, co-head of Greenhill’s European advisory business, is leaving the company as transactions on the continent lag behind the boutique firm’s home U.S. market.

Bloomberg News reports that Ferrari’s departure was 'amicable', Andrew Grant, a spokesman for Greenhill, said in a phone interview. He declined to provide a reason for the exit, which was first reported yesterday by Sky News.

In the meantime, Bloomberg also reports that Bank of America’s Japan bank analyst Nana Otsuki is leaving the company, said people with knowledge of the departure.

The people asked not to be identified because the matter is private. James Seddon, a Tokyo-based spokesman for Bank of America, declined to comment.
