Celtic travel to Tynecastle on Wednesday evening to take on Hearts, with kick-off at 19:45.
The fixture is in the Scottish League Cup quarter final, with both sides hoping to progress to within one step of winning the trophy.
Recent encounters between the two sides have shown favourably upon the Bhoys, with Hearts last victory against the Scottish giants in 2012, and conceding 30 goals in 10 meetings since then - scoring just two of their own goals.
Last season, Celtic defeated the Tynecastle side both times they faced off, winning by an aggregate score of 7-0.
The game is an important one for Ronny Deila, as although Celtic defeated Dundee United convincingly at the weekend, it has not eased the pressure on his head. The Norwegian boss has come under criticism for Celtic’s poor performances in Europe, and this has come to the fore again in recent days due to the actions of certain players - notably Kris Commons, Emilio Izaguirre and Nadir Ciftci.
Of those under fire players, Commons and Izaguirre start, with Ciftci dropping to the substitutes bench. Hearts name Morgaro Gomis and Billy King back in their starting XI, as they look to break their poor record against the Bhoys.
The full confirmed lineups are as follows:
Hearts starting XI: Alexander; Paterson, Augustyn, Rossi, McGhee; Buaben, Gomis, King, Nicholson; Juanma, Sow
Subs: Hamilton, L.Smith, Djoum, Swanson, Zanatta, Walker, Reilly
Celtic starting XI: Gordon; Lustig, Boyata, Simunovic, Izaguirre; Brown, Bitton; Commons, Johansen, Armstrong; Griffiths
Subs: Bailly, Ambrose, Tierney, Rogic, Forrest, Ciftci, Mackay-Steven
