Jack Hunt has reflected on his career on social media site Twitter, ahead of Sheffield Wednesday's match against Arsenal in the Capital One Cup later this evening.
Hunt made his first start for Huddersfield Town against the Gunners back in 2011, and his career has taken him to a number of different clubs since.
The full-back has represented the likes of Crystal Palace, Nottingham Forest and Rotherham United since making his first start, and he admits that it seems a long time since he was a youngster hoping to make his way in the professional game.
Seems a long time since my full debut. Looking forward to tonight https://t.co/bbuuaIO8TD— Jack Hunt (@Hunty32) October 27, 2015
Hunt is now an established Championship player, and he has played a key part for Wednesday throughout their campaign so far.
Whether he will start against Arsenal tonight remains unknown, as Carlos Carvalhal has generally tended to tinker with their starting line-up in League Cup.
However, it seems that Hunt is looking to play his part as the Owls look to cause an upset against the Premier League giants.
Wednesday have already beaten Newcastle United in the competition, and given that they are unbeaten in their last eight matches, they should go into the fourth-round match full of confidence.
