Luciano Becchio played for Leeds United between the years of 2008 and 2013.
Luciano Becchio has told a Leeds United supporter on Twitter that the club will always hold a special place in his heart.
Becchio represented Leeds between 2008-2013, and he became a huge fans' favourite at Elland Road during that time.
The striker scored 86 goals for the Whites in 221 appearances, with his all-action style endearing him to the supporters of the Yorkshire outfit.
Rumours have started to spread on social media that Becchio could be heading for a return to Leeds, with Steve Evans confirming that he is looking to add new players.
Becchio has stayed quiet on these links so far, but he did issue a heartfelt message about his love for Leeds today.
@TylerrCooper 10 mate! I gonna love Leeds forever. Special club and city for me..— Luciano Becchio (@becchioluciano) October 26, 2015
If Becchio did return to the Whites, the transfer would be celebrated by large sections of their crowd, who are desperate to see him again.
Although the 31-year-old has not played much football over recent years, he is still very fondly remembered at Leeds, and he would be given plenty of time to get back to his best.
