West Ham players, loanees and chairman ecstatic on Twitter after Chelsea win

Upton Park

The Hammers picked up a 2-1 win against the champions.

West Ham United picked up yet another big win in the Premier League this weekend after downing Premier League champions Chelsea at Upton Park.

The Hammers have looked a completely different team under Slaven Bilic, in comparison to the way they played the game under previous manager Sam Allardyce.

The ability of Bilic to get the best out of maverick players such as Mauro Zarate has been paramount and the Argentine opened the scoring yesterday. Gary Cahill pulled one back for Chelsea but West Ham's Andy Carroll secured the win with a well placed header.

But the England international, who was scoring his first goal January after a lengthy period on the sidelines with a knee injury, took to Twitter after the game to make it clear he was not the hero - but the team:

Plenty of other West Ham players took to Twitter to celebrate victory once the final whistle had gone as The Hammers briefly went to second in the table.

Even those such as Diego Poyet, currently away from the club on loan, got involved.

Not to mention the chairman.

A good day at the office for West Ham.
