Tottenham Hotspur got back to winning ways this afternoon as they thrashed Bournemouth 5-1 at the Vitality Stadium, with Harry Kane grabbing a hat-trick.
Spurs came into the game having lost away at Anderlecht in the Europa League, and that followed three successive draws in all competitions.
It looked like Mauricio Pochettino's were going to suffer another disappointing afternoon, as Matt Ritchie swooped at the back post to put Bournemouth in front inside the first minute.
Spurs did rally after that though, as Harry Kane converted his first goal of the afternoon from the penalty spot, having been brought down by Cherries goalkeeper Artur Boruc.
Midfielder Mousa Dembele then coasted through the Bournemouth defence to put Spurs in front, before Erik Lamela made it 3-1 after a comical blunder from Boruc.
Kane then got his second of the game, turning home Christian Eriksen's cross, then completed his hat-trick by smashing home after Toby Alderweireld's header had been saved.
The result moves Tottenham up in sixth place, whilst Bournemouth - crippled by injuries in recent weeks - sit 17th, just two points clear of the relegation zone.
