Guillem Balague has cleared up David Moyes' situation as Real Sociedad manager, after Aston Villa parted company with Tim Sherwood earlier today.
Moyes has been touted as a potential replacement for Sherwood at Villa Park by the Daily Mail, but Balague suggests that the move is unlikely to happen.
Villa reportedly feel that Moyes would make a good addition at their club, as they were very impressed by the work he did at Everton earlier in his career.
However, Balague says that the Scottish boss is totally happy at Sociedad, and that Villa should look elsewhere.
Moyes always said he wants 2 end season with la Real. Next 2 games, crucial. But RS clearly beating Levante. Villa should look somwhere else— Guillem Balague (@GuillemBalague) October 25, 2015
In the early part of the new season there were fears that Moyes could lose his job at Sociedad, but he has helped them start climbing the table now.
The La Liga side have picked up a series of victories over recent weeks, and they won their latest fixture 4-0 away to Levante.
It means Moyes' post is now looking secure, and Balague certainly thinks that Villa will have no luck, if they do try to persuade the 52-year-old to move back to England.
As things stand, Remi Garde is the odds-on favourite to land the Villa job with the bookmakers.
