The gaffer is unaware of any non-payment of wages.
This week there have been some rather unsettling rumours surrounding Nottingham Forest. It came after The Telegraph reporter John Percy claimed in a tweet that the Forest players were paid their wages late last month - which will concern fans of a club who have wrestled with financial controls for most of the past decade.
However it was a rumour that Nottingham Forest boss Dougie Freedman appears to know nothing about. The Scot has been talking to BBC Radio Nottingham this weekend, following a 1-1 draw with Ipswich Town at the City Ground.
As far as he is aware every Nottingham Forest player was happily paid on time last month despite the conjecture otherwise:
"To what I know, every single player has been paid every single penny up to date, they've told me that as well."
Of course it is fair to say Freedman may not be fully aware of the going-ons at Forest apart from the dressing room and green rectangle.
This week he repeatedly stated that a deal to sign Liam Trotter on loan from Bolton Wanderers was dead. Yesterday Forest scored a late equaliser against Ipswich. The goalscorer? Liam Trotter, after signing earlier in the day.
But hopefully these rumours are not true so that Forest can concentrate on pushing up the table.
