Rangers welcome St Mirren to Ibrox this afternoon as the current Scottish Championship leaders look to move eight points clear of second-placed Hibernian.
Rangers have started the new campaign in simply outstanding form and they currently have a 100 per cent record after 10 matches played, with a goal-difference of plus-27 to boot.
Despite that brilliant form, manager Mark Warburton will not be getting ahead of himself and will not be taking today’s opponents lightly despite their current position.
St Mirren are seventh in the table with just 10 points to date and it will be one hell of a shock if they get the better of Rangers this afternoon, but that does not mean it cannot be done and the hosts will have to be on form.
Rangers defeated Livingstone 1-0 during the week while St Mirren lost to the same opponents last weekend, but the latter will not want to continue their slip down the table and will give their all today.
