Confirmed: Manchester United and Manchester City line-ups

Here is how Manchester United and Manchester City will line up this weekend:

Manchester United welcome Manchester City to Old Trafford this weekend in a huge match for the two sides.

If City win they will go five points clear of Louis van Gaal’s side but if United secure the victory they will leapfrog the Blues and potentially climb to the top of the table if they can better Arsenal’s current goal-difference.

United drew 1-1 with CSKA Moscow in the Champions League last time out while City defeated Spanish side Sevilla in the same competition with a late Kevin De Bruyne winner.

City have a fine recent record in this match-up winning six of their last eight league derbies, and with the Blues looking for their 50th competitive win against United this should be an absolute humdinger.

That said, United have a superb home record this season and in fact since van Gaal took charge, so they are likely to be the favourites among many heading into this fixture.
