The defender says they know what must be done to turn things around as their winless run continues.
The Villans are without a win since an opening day victory over Bournemouth, with Saturday seeing them give away a 1-0 lead to lose 2-1 to Swansea City at Villa Park.
That result leaves them second from bottom in the Premier League table with just four points and Sherwood firmly under pressure at the club, with rumours abound that he could be set to lose his job.
Hutton, though, insists everyone support the under-fire manager.
“Everyone is behind the manager 100%,” he told BBC Sport.
“We need to turn this around. We're behind him and everyone is pushing in the same way.”
After a busy summer the squad looks anything but settled, with many of the players looking like they are still getting accustomed to the rigours of Premier League football.
There is much work to be done at Villa Park to turn things around, with the side having looked short of ideas on how best to turn things around.
But despite both Sherwood and his players currently looking like they have no idea how to put things right, Hutton insists that isn’t the case and they are working hard to end this current barren spell.
"We're working hard and training hard and hopefully we'll improve,” he added.
“We want to do well. There's no easy games and we know what we have to do."
