Report: Liverpool and Tottenham keen on in-form striker Jamie Vardy

Leicester City - King Power Stadium

The Leicester City star has been in incredible form.

Jamie Vardy was at it again today. The former non-league footballer has been a revelation at Leicester City this season and has worked his way into the England squad as a result.

He found the back of the net earlier today as Leicester beat Crystal Palace 1-0 at the King Power Stadium.

That goal was the seventh consecutive Premier League game in which Vardy has found the back of the net and his 10th goal in as many league games for The Foxes this season.

That form it seems has not gone unnoticed.

ESPN are reporting that Liverpool are keen on the player. The report claims that The Reds would be keen to sign the player this winter after his excellent form.

They are not alone. The same report claims that Tottenham Hotspur are also keeping tabs on the player.

Vardy's style of play is certainly suited to both teams. Klopp wants Liverpool to play with gusto and verve, which Vardy has in abundance. His pressing style will also suit Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino's favoured style of play.

Leicester fans will hope that Vardy is going nowhere but if these two come knocking it is hard to see him sticking around.
