Tim Sherwood's time as Aston Villa manager could be coming to an end after his side were beaten 2-1 at home by Swansea City.
Sherwood went in to the game with many believing that it could be his final match as Villa boss, with just one win to his name this season.
However, he will have been thinking that his fortunes were changing as summer signing Jordan Ayew got his first goal for Villa with a header on the hour mark.
Out-of-form Swansea roared back though, as Gylfi Sigurdsson hammered home a long range free kick, which left Brad Guzan stranded and pulled Garry Monk's men level.
The game was then finely poised, but it was Swansea who took all three points as Andre Ayew - the brother of aforementioned Jordan - swooped with just three minutes left to play, converting Kyle Naughton's cross to pile the pressure on Sherwood.
The coming days could be vital for Sherwood's future as Villa boss, with today's result leaving his side with just four points from ten games.
Meanwhile, Swansea have ended a six-match winless won, and move up to 11th place with 13 points, recording a vital victory today.
