Confirmed: Aston Villa v Swansea lineups - Agbonlahor starts, Traore on bench

Here is how Aston Villa and Swansea City will line up this afternoon.

Aston Villa face a crucial match this afternoon as they take on an out-of-form Swansea City at Villa Park.

With just one win this season, the pressure is mounting on manager Tim Sherwood, with some believing that he needs a win today in order to keep his job.

Sherwood has handed a return to forward Gabriel Agbonlahor, with the striker joining other veteran players such as Joleon Lescott, Kieran Richardson and Alan Hutton in the side.

The bench features the likes of Adama Traore, Carles Gil and Jordan Amavi, with Sherwood selecting an experienced side to try and grab a victory.

Meanwhile, Swansea are struggling too, with Garry Monk now six games without a victory after Monday's 1-0 defeat to Stoke City.

There are murmurings of discontent over Monk's position, and he may also need a victory this afternoon in order to reduce some of that pressure.

Playmaker Gylfi Sigurdsson returns to the side having been left out against Stoke, with Modou Barrow dropping back down to the bench.

Jack Cork also misses out, with Ki Sung-yueng coming back in to the starting line-up, whilst Kyle Naughton also returns at right back in place of Angel Rangel.
