Carlos Carvalhal outlines what he expects from Rotherham v Sheffield Wednesday today

Sheffield Wednesday will face Rotherham United away from home in the Championship this evening.

Sheffield Wednesday head coach Carlos Carvalhal has told the club’s official Twitter page that he expects tonight’s game against Rotherham to be a tough one.

Wednesday will take on Rotherham away from home at the AESSEAL New York Stadium in the Championship this evening.

Wednesday will head into the game on the back of a goalless draw with Queens Park Rangers away from home at Loftus Road in the league.

The Owls are ninth in the Championship table at the moment with 17 points from 12 matches, just four points behind sixth-place Middlesbrough.

Meanwhile, Rotherham currently find themselves second from bottom in the standings with just nine points from 12 games, just a point behind 21st-place Bristol City.

Neil Redfearn’s side will head into this evening’s clash against Wednesday on the back of a 1-1 draw with Reading at home in the Championship.

Rotherham have won just three of their past 17 league matches against Wednesday, losing 11 of them.
