Barkley is one of the brightest and most promising young players in the Premier League, and Wenger seems to be a fan.
Wenger on Ross Barkley: "He has massive potential. He has absolute power and is certainly one of the most promising." #AFCvEFC— Arsenal FC (@Arsenal) October 23, 2015
Wenger will hope that Arsenal can stop Barkley from playing his usual game on Saturday evening when Everton visit the Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners will head into the Premier League game in North London as favourites, but the England international will be a massive threat.
The 21-year-old has been playing well in recent weeks, and he will be in charge of creating chances for the strikers.
Barkley has scored two goals and created 16 chances in nine Premier League appearances so far this season.
The youngster has a pass accuracy of 86% and a shot accuracy of 50%, and has won eight headers, 24 dribbles and three tackles.
