Arsenal v Everton predicted lineups and match preview

Arsenal will be looking to keep the pressure up at the top of the table when they take on Everton, where they can steal a march on their rivals.

To be played on Saturday 24th October 2015 at 17:30. Venue: Emirates Stadium, London

Odds: Arsenal 4/9, Draw 43/10, Everton 15/2

The past couple of weeks have been good for Arsene Wenger and his side as they have managed to put themselves right in the thick of the title race, and are now in a position to salvage their European campaign after a 2-0 win over Bayern Munich in the Champions League in midweek.

Everton have had a very difficult start to the season in terms of the fixture list but have dealt with it pretty well in the main, though the comprehensive home defeat at the hands of Manchester United will not have amused Roberto Martinez as they look to get back to winning ways.

While Everton will be looking to close the gap on the top four, Arsenal will want to use the opportunity to put down a marker for the weekend, with the two teams around them contesting the Manchester derby less than 24 hours later.

The visitors' record has not been great at Arsenal, having not defeated the Gunners on their own patch since the 1995/96 season, so if they were to come away from the Emirates Stadium with a win it would be something of a surprise, especially with Arsenal on a run that has seen them score eight goals without reply in three games.
