The Belgian side won 2-1 in Brussels last night.
They lost 2-1 courtesy of goals from Guillaume Gillet and Stefano Okaka - despite taking the lead early on when Christian Eriksen punished slack defending from the Belgian side.
He told the Anderlecht Online press:
"Such a result against a team from the top in the world, it boosts us. We started badly with this 0-1 fell quickly. I think our whole first half was bad.
"We limited the damage with a goal by Gillet. Fortunately it was 1-1 at the break. It was much better in the second half we started to put pressure. They were dangerous on many occasions via (Harry) Kane. Fortunately, Proto saved us.
"Stefano Okaka was fantastic. If he continues to play like that, we will rarely lose.
"Tottenham will want revenge. Tottenham has only the top players. Four of our best Red Devils (Belgium national team) are in this team, which also includes English internationals. This is not our case, yet we beat them."
Spurs will certainly want revenge after a complacent and sloppy performance saw them lose their first game in Europe this term.
The result followed a comfortable but uninspiring win against Azeri outfit Qarabag and a draw with AS Monaco.
Tottenham now sit in second place in the group below Monaco and level on points with the Belgian side with four points from three games.
