West Ham fans react on Twitter to Carlton Cole's Celtic move

Upton Park

The former West Ham United striker is now based in Scotland.

Following the news that Celtic had signed Carlton Cole on a free transfer, Bhoys fans were not the only ones to have their say on social media.

West Ham United supporters were also vocal after seeing their former forward move to the SPL following a spell training with Ronny Deila’s side.

Cole played for West Ham from 2006 until 2013 before leaving the club seemingly for pastures new, but the Hammers later approached the striker regarding a return after failing to land alternative targets and the forward swiftly ended up back at Upton Park for a while longer.

Cole ended his time at West Ham with 67 goals and 33 assists in 293 appearances and while never a prolific front-man he certainly made his mark at the club.
