According to a report in the Telegraph, Aston Villa will stick by under-fire goalkeeper Brad Guzan for their match against Swansea City at the weekend.
Guzan has made a series of errors which have gifted opposition team goals since the start of the season, but Tim Sherwood is apparently going to keep faith in the American stopper.
Sherwood has few alternatives he can consider, with Mark Bunn the only other senior keeper available to him.
Sherwood was reportedly considering giving Bunn a run of games, but he will stick with Guzan for what is arguably the biggest match of his managerial career to date.
The Daily Mirror have suggested that Sherwood could be sacked if Villa fail to beat Swansea, meaning that he can ill-afford for any of his players to make mistakes in the fixture.
Villa currently lie in 19th place in the Premier League table, and Sherwood has come under pressure due to their poor start.
The Claret and Blues have not won since the opening day of the new term, and they are already four points adrift of safety.
